I’m Lucky, I Know - Fort Knox

January 13, 2008

For those who groan at braggadociuos posts just move on. (Most likely to a different site)

Several days ago I threw up a video on Denver in 3D using Google Earth. Coincidentally, I experienced the same thing personally yesterday.

Yes, this is skite, but there’s nothing like being picked up in a helicopter by a beauty and shown your domain from the air. Instead of a shot from the private strip to tower we meandered through our city, toured Red Rocks and the Hogbacks and landed literally in the back yard of one of the greatest restaurants in Colorado called “The Fort” outside Denver.

Not “steak” - we chose from buffalo prime rib, elk, rattlesnake and more. Ok, I had a beer to drink, not too fancy, but balance is crucial.

Denver really is a beautiful city, but our foothills to the Rockies are even better.

So, having my favorite toy with me (yes, my iPhone) I snapped some pics and am sharing them here.

Uhhh, YEAH I’ll come to dinner!

Yes, we like football here, did you know?

Thank YOU to those that made this possible! And dang it’s good to be king, even in a town of a million.

Since you are King,I am sure you need lots of help. I could hold your iPhone for you on your next flight. Actually very cool! Little envious.
