I am working with the iPhone SDK and making a stand-alone app but currently the new apps aren't easily distributed to other phones. Wow! This works as specified. And if one doesn't clear browser cache, it will also work in areas without online access -- much like a stand-alone app. Still, is there any way this could be turned into a stand-alone app? Why? Web servers go down, URLs change, things happen -- it's life. This reminds me of that useful app I got with my PowerBook -- Art Directors Toolkit.
