Last week while scanning logs for this blog I saw something odd, a large number of hits for search terms relating to “Denver” and “black helicopters”.

I had no idea that military exercises were taking place over downtown Denver in preparation for the DNC convention at the time but the people let me know via my logs, kinda cool.

Later in the week it was in the local news, youtube was abuzz and my blog kept getting hit. The reason I was in the serps was due to an old real estate seo article using “black helicopters” as a metaphor.

Some in Denver were scared and some were spouting conspiracy theories. The scene was a little spooky considering the squadron of BlackHawks hovering over many skyscrapers dropping SEALS on ropes - I thought it was kinda cool. …click here to read more

Starbucks is the second office to many, especially me. It’s great for meetings and banter. The atmosphere is wonderful and caters to the family as well. My iPhone gives me the opportunity to capture the oddities of my town while appearing to be working. SEO is a little more difficult than what this confused lady has shown. Attention online is one thing but real life is another. Sure, a controversial or shocking story works and gathers eyeballs in both worlds. I think I need another caffeine fix.

This morning started light. I blog, so I also read blogs. Sometime I cross a headline that makes my dog wonder what’s wrong with me as his ears perk up while I spontaneously bust out laughing.

Two of them here. First was found by David Naylor and the headline is Great tits cope well with warming. Okay kinda boyish but it’s on the BBC.

Second, I have to give credit to this guy. Sure, he’s a Denver SEO competitor but I can’t begrudge him for linking to a client - but sometime it’s hard to with a straight face. Zack at Katz Web Design of Denver has an article called ” Denver SEO for colon cleansing…a “sweet” surprise!”.

Wow, I posted my kudo to brakes plus a few hours ago and had a picture of my toy. I’ve received a couple email from people asking about the car so instead of writing to you individually I’ll post an evolution of the knox-mobile here.

It’s a fun hobby - especially handy when I get the fake coughs from hybrid drivers snearing at my marlboro. So trust my opinion and give that brake repair service a shot, fellow mustangers! I’ll post some pics pretty soon showing the “stock to-tricked-out” process.

Brakes Plus is a locally owned brakes repair service in Colorado and I really like them. I rarely throw out unsolicited “kudos” but I need to.

Why? First, getting your brakes repaired is scary - you never know who you’re dealing with or if the service will be fair.
