Brakes Plus is a locally owned brakes repair service in Colorado and I really like them. I rarely throw out unsolicited “kudos” but I need to.
Why? First, getting your brakes repaired is scary - you never know who you’re dealing with or if the service will be fair. Fortunately I know a little about cars:) It wasn’t my baby pictured here that I took in to Brakes Plus for help so I don’t think I was profiled as a know-it-all.
Brakes plus was HONEST and FAIR to me! A brake shop! Woo hoo - I’m bringing my monster in to them soon for I tend to wear through my equipment quicker than most of the soccer moms and hybrid owners who live around me. (Eat my carbon footprint! - i digress)
Brakes Plus - good job and thank you for being who we all hope our shop could be. Check out Brakes Plus if you’re in the Denver area, their main office is in Centennial. They also have shops in Wyoming, Arizona and Texas - they’re the same guys but my experience is in Colorado.

Brakes plus, so far so good, -now I just wish they were open on Sundays!
But, evedently there are very few legitimate complaints - I checked the better business bureau. Brakes Plus seams to be pretty good to their customers.

Then I checked another brake shop that competes, well let’s say I’m glad I chose Brakes Plus. 2 complaints in 3 years - these guys operate in several STATES!
I was about to have my brakes done by them, but decided against it…Like you expressed, you never know. I had my brakes done at the dealer instead, which cost the same amount.
